Good software
has a point of view.

Design Build Launch is a small editorial directory of useful independent apps. It’s a place to understand what an app does before following another download link.

A considered collection

The catalog brings together useful products through reviewed maker submissions and independent discovery. Product profiles explain each app’s purpose, features and any publisher relationship.

An “Affiliated listing” is an app that shares ownership with Design Build Launch. It is an editorial listing rather than a paid placement.

What earns a place

We look for a clear purpose, a working public product, an identifiable maker, accurate product information and a considered interface. We check the official website or store listing and write a specific description. A listing is not a claim that we tested every feature or compared every alternative.

What payment changes

Editorially discovered apps can be included without charge. Makers can buy a $19 submission review and product profile, or a $49 seven-day sponsored homepage placement. Every submission is reviewed; declined apps are refunded. Payment does not buy an undisclosed recommendation. Outbound links on paid profiles and placements carry the sponsored attribute.

Corrections and removal

Product information changes. Makers can request a correction or removal, and visitors can report a broken link or misleading claim. Email hello@design-build-launch.com with the app name and the information to review.
