Independent iPhone apps for writing and notes
Different writing tasks need different tools. Drafts catches text before you decide where it belongs. Bear keeps a contained writing library, while Obsidian connects notes stored as Markdown files.
Drafts
Catch the thought. Decide where it goes later.
Bear
A quiet home for notes and longer thoughts.
Obsidian
Keep your notes connected, and your files yours.
Choosing what fits
Choose by the workflow and where the notes live. Drafts can route text to other apps and services. Bear uses its own local database with export options. Obsidian works with Markdown files. Syncing, backup and third-party integrations are separate choices.
